My design philosophy is one of simplicity and purity. I strive to promote beauty through unique graphics and colors that inspire an authentic connection between a product, a brand, an experience and the consumer. Close collaboration with my clients ensures that we deliver creative, relevant and functional solutions to whatever the project may be.
I earned a BS in Design from the University of California at Davis. My design studies ranged from apparel to furniture to interior architecture, though my love for graphics rose to the top. I've since worked as a graphic, pattern and color designer across multiple platforms. I arrived in Portland in 2001 and spent six years at Nike where I designed and developed graphics for a variety of products, product packaging and award winning print materials. I developed and implemented seasonal creative direction and color palettes for the Nike Vision and Timing groups. I joined the Nike TechLab team where I had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with both Apple and Philips in the research, design and development of innovative sports products including speed and distance monitors, sport audio players, headphones and accessories.
In 2007 I became a freelance design consultant. I've worked with world-class clients including Nike, Cinco Design, Microsoft, Lucy Activewear and Jordan Brand.
